Indian politics unlike any other, has always left me speechless. Here is my take on the most charming side of politics, politicians and their amazing skills in entering all aspects of our life.
India’s most famous and talked about topic, politics has always forced a way into my life. It all started when they invaded my social studies textbook. They then spread their reign to my history and civics textbook. Their next conquest was the television. I still don’t understand why they came into the world of television maybe to shoot a scene that is at times worthy of the Oscars. Then the age of the internet, Facebook and Twitter came. They left no stones unturned there too. My feed was filled with political controversies. Through this process I realised one thing, gone were the days of hide and seek, everyone's new favourite is called the blame game. Maybe I will try it some time. What surprises me is that there are so many new people, faces, and representation.
Do not get me wrong I am just happy and proud that so many people care and want to serve this country. The weirdest thing is that these people who wish to serve the public and fight for us and our voices never tried their hand in the army. I wonder why? It could be because they do not have the strength? But I do see quite a lot of strength used on the benches of the houses maybe it is easier to hit on benches than the terrorists.
It could also be the fact that they lack the ability to adapt to some of the harsh forces of nature and man even though they have tried their hand at walking out of assemblies and marking a start of the hunger strike, boycotting, and staying outside the parliament in the hot sun. Although they didn’t earn a spot in people’s heart, they definitely have earned a spot in the discovery channel for surviving in the wilderness.
A lot of people believe that foreign ministers and prime ministers are the most chilled out people but I have to disagree, our leaders are the most chilled out people ever.
Ever heard a person of authority say, “200 people killed? No problem let's blame the other party and take no action. A woman or child was raped? Let’s first investigate if it was a right rape or a wrong rape. Can’t decide on it let's call it an accidental rape”.
A land of parties, politics, politicians, fools, ignorant, and Indians, our beautiful country, India, has it all. It gives us a chance to be what we want for this lands host all kind of people so who are you out of all of these kinds?
